We collect this information primarily for account management, transaction processing, service provision and improvement, and communication with Customers when necessary.

2. Scope of Information Use

VietHosting commits to using Customer information responsibly and solely within the company, primarily for the purpose of providing, maintaining, improving service quality, and offering the best possible customer care. Specifically, Customer-provided information will be used to:

• Complete registration procedures and execute service contracts (including domain name registration as required by the Ministry of Information and Communications, if applicable).
• Process payments and issue service invoices in accordance with regulations.
• Send important notifications related to accounts, service status, technical updates, or policy changes.
• Provide technical support and customer care.

Additionally, with the Customer's consent (expressed through selection during registration or in account settings, in compliance with advertising laws), VietHosting may use contact information to send notifications about system maintenance, service updates, promotional programs, or service quality surveys.

3. Customer Data Security

VietHosting is committed to not accessing, modifying, or disclosing Customer data stored on our server systems (including website content, databases, emails in services such as Web Hosting, KVM VPS, Large VPS, and Dedicated Servers) without explicit consent from the Customer, except when mandated by competent state authorities under the law or to address urgent technical issues to ensure the security and stability of the entire system.

Data backups (if included in the service package or as an add-on service) for services like Web Hosting will be used solely for data recovery purposes at the Customer's request or in the event of system failures requiring service restoration.

Customers have full control over and responsibility for their passwords and service management accounts. VietHosting will only access a Customer's service administration account upon specific technical support request from the Customer and through access information provided by the Customer via official and secure support channels.

VietHosting is not liable for data loss resulting from Customer mismanagement (e.g., poor password management, accidental data deletion). Customers are solely responsible for the content and legality of data stored on VietHosting's systems and must ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and current Vietnamese laws.

4. Information Retention Period

Customers' personal information will be stored and secured by VietHosting throughout the period Customers are registered for and use our services. This information will be retained until the Customer's service account is terminated (due to a cancellation request from the Customer, expiration without renewal, or termination due to a breach of terms) and/or when the Customer makes a formal written request for the deletion of their account information from VietHosting's management system, subject to minimum retention periods required by applicable law (if any).

Data stored by Customers on services (such as Hosting, VPS, Dedicated Servers) will be handled according to the provisions in the Terms of Service, including data deletion when services are not renewed or are terminated due to violations.

5. Customer Rights to Personal Information (Updating and Modifying)

Customers have the right to access, review, and request updates, corrections, or amendments to their personal information at any time through the Client Area at https://clients.viethosting.com. For further assistance or for modification requests that cannot be self-serviced through the system, Customers should contact our support department via email at support@viethosting.com for guidance and processing.

6. Customer Responsibilities in Protecting Information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information throughout the service registration and usage process. Customers must manage and secure their service administration login credentials and Client Area account information, and not share them with unauthorized third parties. Customers are responsible for the security of the data and content they store on VietHosting's server systems.

Customers must immediately notify VietHosting via email at support@viethosting.com or by phone at +84 966707070 upon detecting any unauthorized access, account misuse, or other security breaches related to their account.

VietHosting will use the email address and phone number provided by the Customer as the primary means of official communication for support, notifications, and information exchange throughout the service provision and usage period. Customers are responsible for ensuring that the provided email address and phone number are always accurate and active.

Customers will receive important service management information and payment reminders from VietHosting primarily via their registered email address. Email and phone numbers will also be used for Customer-initiated support requests and password recovery procedures. Customers must promptly inform VietHosting of any changes to their email address or phone number to avoid potential issues.

7. Links to External Websites

VietHosting's website (https://viethosting.com) may contain links to third-party websites for the purpose of providing additional reference information or convenience to Customers. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those websites. We are not responsible for the content, security, or practices of any external websites not directly owned and managed by VietHosting. Customers are advised to carefully review the privacy policies of such websites before providing any personal information.
