  The refund policy does not apply to services of a specific nature or with non-recoverable costs, such as: Domain Names, Software Licenses, Dedicated Servers, and Server Colocation.

For Hosting services at VietHosting, customer data is backed up periodically, both daily and weekly. Thus, the system retains a total of 2 backup copies.

The daily backup (around 3:00-5:00 AM) is used for same-day data recovery needs.

The weekly backup (early week, around 3:00-5:00 AM) is used for weekly recovery or if the daily backup is unusable.

To ensure our clients do not miss renewal notices, we follow a specific process for handling expired services:

• Before Expiration: The system automatically sends renewal reminder emails 10 days, 7 days, and 1 day in advance.
• On the Expiration Date: The service will be suspended if it has not been successfully renewed.
• After Expiration: Your data will be retained by us for an additional 7 days.
• 7 Days After Expiration: If the service is still not renewed, all data will be permanently deleted. VietHosting is not responsible for any data loss due to late payment.

A Hosting account may be suspended for one of the following main reasons:

• Late Payment: The service has expired and has not been successfully renewed.
• Resource Over-usage: Exceeding the limits specified in your hosting plan (e.g., disk space, bandwidth, CPU, RAM).
• Terms of Service Violation: Engaging in prohibited activities such as distributing malware, sending spam emails, or storing infringing content. For details, please see our Terms of Service.

For your reference, the main resource parameters applied to each Shared Hosting account include:

• RAM: 2 GB
• CPU Core: 2 Cores
• Disk I/O: 100 MB/s
• IOPS: 4096
• Entry Processes: 75

Yes, the security of your data is a top priority at VietHosting. We are committed to protecting data at the infrastructure level; however, comprehensive security requires cooperation and the implementation of security measures from both sides. This is based on a shared responsibility model:

• VietHosting's Responsibility:

  We are responsible for security at the physical and network infrastructure level. This includes protecting servers from unauthorized physical access, ensuring security at the Data Center, and maintaining a stable and secure network.

• Your Responsibility:

  You are responsible for security at the application and data level. This includes using strong passwords, keeping your website's source code and plugins updated, managing user permissions, and implementing your own backup policy, especially for VPS and Dedicated Server services.

Specific Security and Backup Policies at VietHosting

Based on the principle above, our access and backup policies are clearly defined for each service:

• For Shared Hosting (cPanel / DirectAdmin):

  We automatically maintain 2 backup copies: the most recent daily backup and the most recent weekly backup. The purpose of this is to facilitate quick restoration upon your request or in the event of a hardware failure. Your data remains confidential, and we do not interfere without your consent.

• For VPS and Dedicated Servers:

  You have full highest-level administrative access (root / Administrator) and are entirely responsible for your data. VietHosting does not perform automatic backups for these services, unless you have a separate contract or subscribe to a dedicated backup service.

• General Commitment:

  VietHosting is committed to not accessing, modifying, or monitoring your data across all services. We only access your server when we receive a technical support request and login credentials directly from you, or as required by competent legal authorities.

Your registration information is retained from the time you create an account until you discontinue service use and request account deletion. Data on servers (Hosting, VPS, Server) will adhere to the Terms of Service and may be deleted upon non-renewal or violation.

You are responsible for providing accurate registration information, securing your login credentials, and managing your service accounts.
